Has no one dropped a piano on that BiTurbo yet?

There's a really good shape dogleg 5-spd Biturbo for sale that I saw on my way up to the drag strip last night (a cookie to anyone who guesses the car next to it). The car had a beautiful saddle interior! I also played piano for 11 years, so I know a guy who knows a guy who makes things happen with pianos....

At some point in the past Clarkson dropped a BiTurbo from a great height onto "an unforgiving runway." That thing would break your heart, then your wallet.

It might be an UMM?

I know both very well. My failing 3rd gear syncro on my E34 M5 finally went last night. Extra crunchy peanut butter right there man. I bought the car for 10k and have shelled out probably close to 11k on parts, repairs, and maintenance. The only thing that broke until now was the old gas tank which started to leak, everything else has been preventative or overdue maintenance (mounts, subframe, seals and gaskets, full cooling system, etc). She did manage to run a 14.5 quarter mile with the failing syncro, not bad for an old broad.

Umm... YES! WINNARRR. I had never seen one before and was quite enthralled. They also had one of these for sale! Never seen a lancia in person before.

60,000 mile warranty on an '88 Camry I used as a DD - 2nd gear syncros went just shy of 61K. I pointed out that original clutch had little wear, so it wasn't my driving. The dealer and Toyota fought and fought and finally split the tranny rebuild with me. Cost me about $1,200, but at least I got something.

That's pretty clean looking Delta. The fwd base model Delta didn't sell very well in Finland. I think that even Integrale outsold the fwd base models.
